Why is there no sound coming out of my Denon TV?
An HDMI cable runs between the two units and is connected to the ARC input. The receiver turns itself on…and then a minute or so later, it turns off. No audio is coming out of the speakers because the TV remains off. I swapped out the Denon for another unit….same problem.

The problem was loose wiring to the motor. That loose wiring caused the original motor to run backwards and burn out. At any rate, might want to inspect wiring beginning at your fuse/circuit box. Also, inspect the room outlet for deterioration.
